Meet The Team

Founder & Primary Tutor
Charley
The founder of Tutoring with Charley and a qualified teacher with experience across SEND, private, and state school settings. She is passionate about supporting the whole child, not just their academic progress.
Her mission is to ensure that every child and parent feels supported, helping families build confidence, resilience, and strong learning foundations together.
Charley works closely with parents as well as children, providing guidance, reassurance, and practical strategies so they feel confident supporting learning at home. Her approach is rooted in the belief that lasting progress happens when both the child and the family feel empowered.

Key Stage 1 Tutor
Naomi
With over 20 years’ experience across Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2, Naomi brings learning to life through warm, engaging sessions. Her goal is to make every lesson fun, positive, and full of meaningful connections, helping children feel relaxed and confident as they learn (with the occasional cheeky cameo from her two sphynx cats 🐾.)

Key Stage 2 Tutor
Molly
Molly is passionate about supporting KS2 learners, with a strong focus on both academic progress and children’s wellbeing. She believes that confidence and emotional support play a key role in successful learning.
Her approach combines clear, structured academic support with gentle encouragement to help children feel calm, capable, and ready to learn. Molly is dedicated to helping children grow in both their skills and self-belief.

Key Stage 2 Tutor
Laura
Laura has 17 years of teaching experience across the primary age range, from EYFS through to Year 6, including time spent working within SEND settings. She values the personalised care and attention that tutoring allows and strongly believes in building positive, trusting relationships between the tutor, the child, and their parents or carers.
Outside of teaching, she enjoys playing ice hockey, gardening, and spending time with friends.

Key Stage 1 & 2 Tutor
Lynsey
Lynsey is an experienced primary teacher who is passionate about supporting children in English, Maths, and Science, creating fun, interactive lessons that build both confidence and understanding.
She believes confidence is just as important as academic progress, and works to help every child feel capable, supported, and proud of their achievements. Known for her patient, caring approach, Lynsey celebrates the small wins that lead to long-term success.
Outside of teaching, she enjoys baking and going for walks with her dogs.
